Shared costs that split themselves.

Halves spots the card payments you share and splits them with the right people. You just swipe.

Works with the cards you already use

01Card payments

Every payment, sorted.

Halves works out which group or friend each card payment was for, and keeps the rest private. Each one shows the card it came from.

02Bills

Bills that add themselves.

Rent goes in on the 1st. Bills that vary take the amount from your bank and check with you first.

03Split defaults

Each group splits its own way.

Set a default once, like 60 / 40 for the two of you, and every new split starts from it.

04No app needed

Friends don’t need the app.

Add anyone by name and split with them straight away. Drop the invite link in WhatsApp, iMessage or wherever the group talks. It opens in their browser, they pick their name, and their splits are waiting.

05Receipts

Everyone picks what they had.

Scan the receipt once. Everyone taps their own items on their own phone, at the same time, and each pick lands on every receipt.

FAQ

Questions

Is connecting my card safe?

Halves connects through Open Banking, the regulated way UK banks share data with apps. You approve it in your bank’s own app, it can only read payments, and you can disconnect at any time. Halves can never move money.

Who can see my card payments?

Only you. A payment reaches a group or a friend only when you add it. Anything you keep personal stays private.

Do my friends need the app?

No. Add them by name and they’re a Placeholder until they join. Send the invite link in any chat: on a computer it opens the web app, and on a phone it opens the app if they have it and the web page if they don’t. They pick their name and take over their splits.

Can I use more than one card?

Yes. Connect each card you pay with. Payments from all of them arrive in one feed, and each shows the card it came from.

Try it on your next trip.

Free on iPhone, Android and the web. The phone apps are in beta.
